Enchilada Sauce Should NEVER Taste Like Warmed Up Spaghetti-O's

So I meant to write about this injustice last week, but between packing up to go home and celebrating my birthday with family; I got pretty distracted. Anyway, about a year to a year and a half ago the Don Pablo's near where I go to school got shut down and a Baja Sol moved in. Since I figured that Baja Sol had to atleast be decent we went there to try it out. I got there and ordered some enchiladas because I love them. They told us that we could go to their salsa bar and pick out some salsa for ourselves instead of just giving us some. What awaited us at the salsa bar was a nasty mix of chunked up vegetables and sauces that hardly resembled anything like a good salsa (you can see an actual selection from our local Baja Sol in the picture to the top left). Later the enchiladas arrived and they seemed like they had been microwaved minutes beforehand. Also, the enchilada sauce tasted like Spaghetti-O's had been strained so the noodles got left behind.

Since then another Don Pablo's nearby got replaced by a 2nd Baja Sol. I did some research to see whether or not all Don Pablo's were being overrun by Minnesota's disgusting Baja Sol chain and I don't think they are. It seems like they merely picked certain areas to completely replace Don Pablo's instead of slowly trying to drive them out. It makes me sad the Don Pablo's isn't popular anymore and I can't really see why people like Baja Sol more. I'd have to say that the prices are pretty comparable and that the quality of Don Pablo's is definitely higher. I looked up Baja Sol's menu to see why and found out that they have a huge selection of tequila. It's sucks that people would choose booze over better food, but I'm gonna keep going to Don Pablo's in hopes that it stays alive. It's the only good chain left since Chichi's died.

I'm sorry, that sounds gross. It reminds me of Moe's down here. They have like 6 different salsas, but only one of them is okay.

There is still Hacienda, but it is only in Berrienland. I love Hacienda, and no, Moe's has no good salsa, but that's okay cause they're getting shut down, hehehehe.
