I'm sure you've heard that Spiderman 4 has been cancelled. It happened on the 11th, just 3 days after Tobey Maguire ensured fans that he was very hopeful for the film and that "It's all a process....It's all happening right now. It's all sort of coming together. It's very exciting to me." I find it completely ridiculous that Tobey would even give the interview about how well the film is coming together and then turn around and be like oh yeah Spiderman 4 is done now, bye! I mean sure, it might not be his fault, but wouldn't you have atleast some kind of inkling that the film was gonna die in 3 days? The good news is that they're trying to reboot it (So hopefully it doesn't suck this time around. I mean seriously wtf is up with webs coming out of his wrists?!?). Personally I hope the reboot goes over well since it's supposed to be Spidey in a highschool setting. I have high prospects for it also because it's rumored to be based on the popular Ultimate Spider-Man comic. Marc Webb (Seriously how perfect is his last name for directing a spiderman film? haha) is the new director. I hope he definitely adds to Spiderman what it actually needs, snarkiness! I'm tired of the half-witted comments of Tobey Maguire. I mean Spiderman is supposed to be sassy and a downright pain in the ass to the super villains he faces (that and occasionally make crossover characters super uncomfortable lol).

Andy is All Grown Up
I meant to post this trailer for Toy Story 3 yesterday, but I'm sick now. The trailer shows that Andy is actually leaving for college now, and so the toys start freaking out. It looks like they get donated to a daycare or something since they are being nommed on by toddlers. I love it when they reset Buzz so that he's not only obnoxious, but also speaks only in Spanish. Overall looks like a good movie to me. I'd post more but like I said, I'm dying.
[Edit: Cinema Blend has removed this video until Monday since Disney whined at them. Not so sure what's so special about it being allowed to be viewed on Monday vs. today but when Disney whines at you, you listen I guess. If you didn't see it I'd advise hunting through Youtube, but I'm sure any videos are going to be deleted almost as soon as their posted. Make sure to come watch it here tomorrow!]

Is it just me or are the new Disney princesses looking pretty snooty?
So I mentioned the new Disney Rapunzel movie awhile back and I can't believe I missed another fun Disney movie that was supposed to come out this Christmas. It's called The Princess and the Frog and now it's actually coming out on December 11th, so it doesn't come out the same day as the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. People are saying that Disney is intimidated by the Chipmunks, but I think they're just being smart. Who would want to have 2 popular kids movies released on the same day if it was gonna lose them business? Also, by releasing their movie earlier, they get the attention first. That, and I imagine a lot of little kids don't get to go see movies on Christmas day since most people spend time with their families all day.
Anyway, it's based on the story The Frog Princess and is being directed by the directors of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. That's impressive, especially because it's going to be the first traditionally animated Disney movie since Home on the Range (which was a terrible film and I'm sure you agree with me if you've ever seen it), which was supposed to be the last ever movie from Disney like that. I always knew that was a horrible move by Disney and I totally called that they'd change their mind and start making traditional Disney movies again. It only took them <5 years (since clearly it took time to make the film) to change their mind for the better. Anyway, the movie looks great other than this snooty picture I found of the Frog Princess looking at the frog. It reminds me a lot of the Rapunzel picture I posted forever ago. They both look like total snobs and it's pretty funny to think of a snobby princess, especially a snobby Disney princess.

How did I not post about this X-men Origins trailer?!?
Uhm, anyway there's a trailer out in theaters for X-men Origins and the long version is pretty decent. I think I only saw the short version and I'm not sure when, but when I re-watched it I realized why I didn't post about it or even remember it happening. The longer trailer has Gambit in it which is pretty cool, as well as Deadpool, Sabertooth (bleh!), The Blob (lol), and lots of other X-men that I can't name right now (some because I just don't know, and others because they just stand there in the trailer like "dur").
Anyway, the trailer says the movie is coming out May 1st, but that's probably not happening because Fox tried to mess up another X-men movie by making edits that the director strongly disapproved of. When will they learn? So now they're claiming that they're doing re-shoots because of weather conditions. I think it's because of the Watchmen lawsuit though. Even though it's all settled and Fox isn't going to be a co-distributor of the movie, they're still getting a ton of money from the suit as well as up to 8.5% of the box office revenue. So if Fox is using this money to do the X-men Origins movie some good, then I'm all for it. I just hope that they're not making stupid changes in this movie, like say killing off all the main characters just for fun.
